Plan on the same income, asset, and credit package as your FHA or conventional first mortgage — plus Chenoa second-lien disclosures and a homebuyer education certificate when your pathway requires it.
Chenoa Fund does not invent a separate documentation universe. Underwriters still need to verify income, assets, credit, identity, and the property for your first mortgage — then layer the Chenoa second-mortgage package on top.
That means paystubs, W-2s or tax returns, bank statements, photo ID, and purchase-contract items should be ready from day one. Special situations (self-employed, gift funds, divorce, bankruptcy waiting periods) add the usual extras.
When education is required for your credit tier or first-time-buyer status, complete the approved course early and upload the certificate so clear-to-close is not waiting on a class.
